Greta Valley Tavern has been serving the finest hospitality in North Canterbury for generations.

We have a fully licensed bar, operating 7 days a week from 11 am, at only 80 km from Christchurch City. The perfect spot to come down and have a drink with your friends or bring the family for a delicious meal on a Sunday adventure.

We have a hearty and modern Brunch, Lunch and Dinner Menu. Our Kiwi classic dishes feature ingredients handpicked by our locals.

We are proud to stock the best local wines from the wonderful Waipara wine-growing region, home to more than 90 vineyards.

Enjoyed a stop here in our drive around, and I enjoyed the atmosphere here. If you are driving by, the warmth of the staff here is enjoyable and refreshing.

It's my local pub. They never let me down. Great food, good service and very well priced. Totally worth it for breakfast, lunch or tea.
